Geranium

Geranium is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the family Geraniaceae. They are commonly known as "cranesbills" because of the shape of their fruit, which resembles a crane's bill. Geranium plants are native to temperate regions of the world, and are now grown in many other parts of the world as ornamental plants.

Geranium plants have low-growing stems that produce flowers that are typically pink, purple, or white, with five petals that can be flat or ruffled. The foliage of Geranium plants is often green and rounded, and can be quite large.
