At Plants for all Seasons, we stand behind the quality and vitality of every plant we deliver, which is why we proudly offer a Live Delivery Guarantee. This commitment means that we guarantee your plants will arrive at your doorstep in healthy, thriving condition. We understand the importance of receiving your plants in the best possible state, ready to enhance your space from the moment they arrive. With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. The Baby Caladium Mix is a vibrant tray selection of young Caladium plants, each displaying unique, colourful heart-shaped leaves with striking patterns in pink, white, green, red, and speckled combinations. These tropical beauties are loved for their delicate foliage, painterly markings, and compact size, making them perfect for tray planting — ideal for styling on windowsills, coffee tables, kitchen counters, or shelving displays. As a group, they create an instant pop of colour and texture, and their small stature allows for easy styling in decorative trays, ceramics, or shallow planters. With proper humidity and gentle care, Baby Caladiums reward with eye-catching growth throughout the warmer months.
Indoors: Bright, indirect light is best. Too much direct sun may scorch the delicate leaves.
Low light: Tolerated, but colours may fade and leaves may grow smaller.
Best position: East- or north-facing windowsills, or filtered light from a sheer curtain.
Ideal temperature: 20–28°C (68–82°F)
Minimum temperature: Keep above 15°C (59°F); avoid cold draughts.
Humidity: High humidity is essential for best performance. Use a pebble tray, group with other plants, or mist regularly to maintain moisture in the air.
Watering frequency: Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm is dry.
Tray display tip: Ensure each baby pot or liner drains well — sitting in water can quickly lead to rot.
Winter: Most caladiums go dormant in cooler seasons — reduce watering significantly when leaves begin to die back.
Soil type: Light, well-draining compost — a mix for aroids or tropical plants works well.
Tray type: Display in a decorative tray, shallow bowl, or a low planter box. Use a liner or saucers to catch drainage and protect surfaces.
Tip: For a cleaner look, top the soil with moss or gravel between plants.
Growing season (spring–summer): Feed fortnightly with a diluted liquid fertiliser.
Autumn–winter: Stop feeding when plants enter dormancy and lose foliage.
Pruning: Remove yellowing or faded leaves at the base to encourage fresh growth.
Dormancy care: If leaves die back fully, reduce watering and let the tubers rest in the soil. Resume watering in spring as new growth appears.
By division: Mature plants grow from tubers, which can be divided during dormancy.
Not typically propagated from baby plants, but new growth may sprout from tubers as they mature.
Common pests: Spider mites, aphids, and fungus gnats in overly damp soil.
Symptoms: Leaf curl, yellowing, or speckling.
Treatment: Treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap and increase airflow around the display.
Common issues:
Crispy edges: Usually caused by dry air — increase humidity.
Leaf drop: Normal in autumn/winter or due to overwatering.
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Contains calcium oxalates which may cause irritation.
Precaution: Keep out of reach of pets and children, especially during leaf changes.
