At Plants for all Seasons, we stand behind the quality and vitality of every plant we deliver, which is why we proudly offer a Live Delivery Guarantee. This commitment means that we guarantee your plants will arrive at your doorstep in healthy, thriving condition. We understand the importance of receiving your plants in the best possible state, ready to enhance your space from the moment they arrive. With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Philodendron ‘Lemon Micans’ is a vibrant, velvety trailing plant known for its bright lime-green and golden-chartreuse foliage, offering a refreshing and uplifting alternative to the deeper tones of the classic Philodendron Micans. With its soft, heart-shaped leaves and trailing habit, this variety brings both texture and bold colour contrast to interior spaces. Its shimmering finish and quick-growing vines make it perfect for styling in a shallow bowl pot, where it can drape softly over the edges — ideal for open shelving, desktops, coffee tables, or consoles. Easy to grow and propagate, Lemon Micans adds light and life to even the most minimalist displays.
Indoors: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant colour and compact growth.
Too much sun: Harsh direct sunlight may fade or scorch the foliage.
Low light: Tolerated, but may cause duller colour and leggier growth.
Ideal temperature: 18–26°C (65–79°F)
Minimum temperature: Keep above 15°C (59°F)
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity, but copes well with average indoor levels.
Watering frequency: Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil is dry. Keep lightly moist but not waterlogged.
Winter: Water less frequently as growth slows.
Tip: In bowl pots, ensure proper drainage to prevent soggy roots.
Soil type: Use a well-draining aroid mix — compost with perlite and orchid bark is ideal.
Pot type: Suits a wide, shallow bowl pot, allowing soft trails to drape over the edge for a full, cascading effect.
Drainage: Ensure pots have drainage holes or use an inner liner with a decorative bowl.
Growing season (spring–summer): Feed every 4–6 weeks with a gentle liquid houseplant fertiliser.
Autumn–winter: Reduce feeding or pause if growth slows.
Pruning: Trim to shape and encourage bushier growth. Regular pruning prevents legginess.
Leaf care: Gently dust with a soft brush or cloth to enhance leaf vibrancy and texture.
Trailing habit: Excellent for hanging or bowl pots, or even trained onto small trellises.
Stem cuttings: Propagates easily in water or soil. Ensure each cutting has a node for rooting.
Great for creating fuller displays: Ideal for topping up bowl pots with fresh growth.
Common pests: Spider mites, aphids, and mealybugs.
Symptoms: Pale or curling leaves, sticky residue, or visible pests.
Treatment: Use neem oil or insecticidal soap. Maintain consistent care and airflow.
Common issues:
Leggy vines: Usually from low light — move to a brighter position.
Leaf yellowing: Typically caused by overwatering or poor drainage.
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested due to calcium oxalates.
Precaution: Keep out of reach of pets and young children.
Ideal for shallow bowl pots styled on:
Floating shelves, bedside tables, coffee tables, or consoles
Home offices or kitchens needing a pop of fresh, citrus-toned greenery
Pair with dark foliage like Philodendron Micans or Ficus elastica ‘Abidjan’ for contrast
A top choice for interior stylists seeking soft texture, fast growth, and a splash of colour in one plant
