With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron ‘Brasil’, also known as Scandens Brasil, is a vibrant and easy-care trailing plant, celebrated for its lime-green and golden variegated heart-shaped leaves. A sport of the classic Philodendron scandens, this striking variety adds a playful splash of colour with each leaf uniquely marbled and striped in shades of chartreuse and emerald green. Fast-growing and low-fuss, it thrives when grown in a wide, shallow bowl pot, allowing its vines to spill elegantly over the sides — ideal for shelves, desktops, plant stands, and coffee tables. Whether styled solo or as part of a mixed foliage display, Scandens Brasil brings cheer and colour to interiors with minimal care.
Indoors: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation.
Too much sun: Direct sun may fade or scorch leaves, particularly the lighter sections.
Low light: Tolerated, but leaves may revert to green and vines may become leggy.
Ideal temperature: 18–26°C (65–79°F)
Minimum temperature: Keep above 15°C (59°F)
Humidity: Performs well in normal home humidity but appreciates higher levels. Occasional misting helps keep foliage fresh.
Watering frequency: Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain thoroughly.
Winter: Water less frequently during slower growth.
Bowl pot tip: Ensure bowl pots have excellent drainage to avoid soggy roots, especially in shallower containers.
Soil type: Well-draining houseplant compost with added perlite and orchid bark to promote airflow.
Pot type: Suits wide, shallow bowl pots, which showcase its trailing form beautifully.
Drainage: Always ensure drainage holes or use a nursery pot within a decorative container.
Growing season (spring–summer): Feed every 4–6 weeks with a diluted balanced liquid fertiliser.
Autumn–winter: Feed every 6–8 weeks or pause if growth slows.
Pruning: Trim back stems to encourage bushier growth and maintain shape. Regular trimming is ideal in bowl pots.
Leaf care: Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to remove dust and highlight the variegation.
Trailing habit: Perfect for softening edges of shelves, plant ladders, or tabletop displays.
Stem cuttings: Very easy to propagate in water or soil. Cut below a node and root in warm, bright conditions.
Tip: Use propagated cuttings to fill out bowl pots or create matching satellite plants.
Common pests: Mealybugs, spider mites, aphids.
Symptoms: Leaf drop, sticky residue, discolouration.
Treatment: Neem oil or insecticidal soap and consistent care.
Common issues:
Faded variegation: Often due to insufficient light.
Yellowing leaves: Usually caused by overwatering or poor drainage.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested. Contains calcium oxalates which may irritate.
Precaution: Keep away from pets and children.
Ideal in shallow bowl pots placed on:
Open shelving, sideboards, desks, or bedside tables
Kitchen counters or plant stands where vines can gently drape
Paired with darker foliage like Ficus elastica ‘Robusta’ or Philodendron Micans for contrast
Adds colour, texture, and life to neutral interiors and tropical-themed spaces alike
Great choice for both new plant owners and seasoned collectors seeking trailing impact with minimal effort
