Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Scindapsus officinalis is a rare and striking vining plant from the Araceae family, known for its thick, leathery leaves and subtle silver variegation. Native to tropical regions of Asia, this climbing or trailing species is closely related to Scindapsus pictus but has a more robust growth habit. It is highly sought after by collectors for its unique foliage and resilience.
The leaves of Scindapsus officinalis are broad, oval-shaped, and thick, with a smooth, slightly glossy surface. They are typically deep green with silver speckling or variegation, depending on light conditions. The plant’s leaves have a slightly leathery texture, helping it retain moisture and making it more drought-tolerant than many other vining species.
This Scindapsus grows as a climbing vine or a trailing plant, depending on how it is cultivated. It can be trained on a trellis, moss pole, or left to cascade naturally from a hanging basket. It produces aerial roots along its stem, allowing it to cling to surfaces and absorb moisture from the air.
Scindapsus officinalis thrives in bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, while too little light may slow growth and reduce variegation. An east- or west-facing window is ideal. If natural light is insufficient, a grow light can help maintain healthy foliage.
A well-draining, airy soil mix is essential to prevent root rot and promote healthy growth. A good mix includes:
Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). A nitrogen-rich fertiliser encourages lush foliage, while a phosphorus-rich fertiliser helps support strong root development. Reduce feeding in autumn and winter.
Propagation is best done through stem cuttings:
