Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Hoya wibergiae, known as Wiberg’s Wax Plant, is a rare and beautifully understated species within the beloved Hoya genus, native to the Philippines. It’s a slow to moderate grower prized for its elegant, narrow, slightly succulent leaves and its charming clusters of star-shaped flowers. The blooms are typically soft pink to pale cream with a darker centre, forming in classic Hoya umbels with a delicate, sweet fragrance. Like other Hoyas, it is an epiphytic climber in the wild, growing along tree branches, and therefore thrives in airy soil mixes and bright conditions when cultivated indoors. Its compact growth habit and refined foliage make it ideal for small spaces, and its ease of care makes it a perfect addition to both collector displays and casual houseplant collections. Hoya wibergiae is an excellent choice for trailing from shelves or baskets or for training up a small trellis.
Indoors: Prefers bright, indirect light to encourage healthy growth and flowering.
Direct sun: Tolerates early morning or filtered sunlight but avoid harsh midday rays, which may scorch the leaves.
Low light: Tolerated, but may result in slower growth and fewer or no flowers.
Ideal temperature: 18–28°C (65–82°F)
Minimum temperature: Keep above 12°C (54°F); not frost-hardy
Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Use a humidity tray or mist regularly in dry environments.
Watering frequency: Allow the top 3–5 cm of soil to dry out before watering. Do not allow the plant to sit in water.
Tip: Use tepid, filtered water when possible. Reduce watering in winter.
Signs of underwatering: Wrinkled, soft leaves.
Signs of overwatering: Yellowing leaves or soft stems.
Soil type: Use an airy, free-draining mix such as orchid bark, perlite, and a small amount of potting compost or coco coir.
pH: Slightly acidic to neutral (5.5–7.0)
Repotting: Every 2–3 years, or when rootbound. Hoyas prefer being slightly pot-bound.
Growing season (spring–summer): Feed monthly with a balanced houseplant or orchid fertiliser.
Autumn–winter: Feeding can be reduced or paused.
Pruning: Minimal. Prune only to control size or remove dead/damaged growth.
Do not remove flower spurs (peduncles) — Hoyas flower repeatedly from the same points.
Leaf care: Wipe gently to remove dust and maintain the plant’s health and shine.
Stem cuttings: Propagate via stem cuttings with at least one node. Root in water, sphagnum moss, or moist compost.
Best time: Spring or early summer.
Common pests: Mealybugs, aphids, and spider mites — especially in low humidity or poorly ventilated spaces.
Symptoms: Sticky residue, webbing, or visible pests.
Treatment: Wipe leaves and treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
Common issues:
No flowers: Often due to low light or pruning off flowering points.
Leaf yellowing: Usually a result of overwatering or poor drainage.
Toxicity: Non-toxic to cats, dogs, and humans.
Safe choice: Excellent for pet-friendly homes and workplaces.
A refined, rare trailing plant with charming flowers and graceful foliage.
Ideal for hanging baskets, narrow shelves, or trellised in small decorative pots.
Perfect for collectors or anyone looking to expand into less common Hoyas.
Pairs beautifully with other tropicals like Peperomia, Philodendron, or Dischidia.
Low-maintenance, long-lived, and highly rewarding with the right care.
