Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Hoya paziae is a rare and beautiful species native to the Philippines. Known for its slender, elongated leaves and delicate star-shaped flowers, this epiphytic Hoya is a favourite among collectors. It belongs to the Apocynaceae family and thrives in warm, humid environments similar to its natural tropical habitat.
The leaves of Hoya paziae are narrow, elongated, and slightly glossy. They are typically deep green with a smooth surface and a prominent central vein. Their thin yet leathery texture allows them to retain some moisture, making the plant adaptable to different humidity levels.
This Hoya produces stunning clusters of small, star-shaped flowers. The blooms are usually white or cream with a contrasting maroon or pinkish centre. They are waxy in texture and emit a mild, sweet fragrance, particularly in the evening. Flowering can be encouraged with optimal lighting and care.
As a vining epiphyte, Hoya paziae grows by twining around supports, making it ideal for trellises, moss poles, or hanging baskets. It has a moderate growth rate but can become quite long and elegant when given proper support.
Hoya paziae thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves, while insufficient light may slow growth and reduce flowering. An east- or west-facing window is ideal if growing indoors. The plant benefits from some gentle morning sun but should be protected from harsh afternoon rays.
This species prefers warm temperatures between 18–30°C (65–86°F). It is not cold-tolerant and should always be kept above 10°C (50°F). High humidity (above 60%) is beneficial, but the plant can adapt to moderate humidity levels. If the air is too dry, occasional misting or using a humidifier will help maintain optimal conditions.
Water when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. The plant prefers to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. Reduce watering during the winter months when growth slows. Always use room-temperature, non-chlorinated water to avoid shocking the roots.
A well-draining, airy potting mix is essential for Hoya paziae. A suitable mix includes orchid bark, perlite or pumice, coco coir or peat moss, and a small amount of charcoal for added drainage. This mix mimics the plant’s natural growing conditions and prevents waterlogging.
Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). A fertiliser with higher phosphorus content can be used to promote flowering. Reduce feeding in autumn and winter when the plant’s growth slows.
Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. Choose a slightly larger container with drainage holes to prevent excess moisture retention. A breathable terracotta or plastic pot is ideal for maintaining root health.
Pruning helps control the plant’s shape and encourages bushier growth. Avoid cutting off flower peduncles, as Hoyas rebloom from the same nodes. Wiping the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth removes dust and improves photosynthesis.
Propagation is best done through stem cuttings. Cuttings should include at least one node and can be rooted in water, sphagnum moss, or a well-draining soil mix. Rooting usually takes 2-6 weeks, depending on humidity and temperature.
Yellowing leaves are often a sign of overwatering, while wrinkled leaves may indicate underwatering or low humidity. If the plant does not flower, it may not be receiving enough light or nutrients. Root rot can occur if the soil remains too wet, so ensuring proper drainage is crucial. Common pests include mealybugs, spider mites, and aphids, which can be managed with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
