Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

The Philodendron mexicanum is a sought-after tropical houseplant, recognized for its unique, lobed leaves.
Description
The Philodendron mexicanum is a climbing species known for its elongated, deeply lobed, green leaves. The leaves can reach up to 2 feet long and have a glossy, leathery texture. As the plant matures, the leaves take on their distinctive lobed appearance, which distinguishes this species from many other Philodendrons.
Care Guide
Light: Like many Philodendrons, the mexicanum prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can cause leaf scorching, while too little light can result in leggy growth and fewer leaves.
Water: Water when the top inch or so of the soil feels dry. Be careful not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot. These plants like consistently moist (but not soggy) soil.
Temperature: The Philodendron mexicanum enjoys warmer temperatures, ideally between 65-85°F (18-29°C). It doesn't tolerate cold well, so ensure it's not exposed to drafts or temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
Humidity: High humidity is appreciated by this tropical plant. You can increase humidity with a pebble tray, a humidifier, or by misting the plant regularly.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A good mix might include peat moss or coco coir, perlite, and a bit of orchid bark or coarse sand.
Fertilizer: Fertilize monthly during the growing season (spring to summer) with a balanced houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. During the dormant winter months, you can hold off on fertilizing.
Pruning: Pruning can be done to manage the size and shape of the plant. Use clean, sharp shears to avoid causing unnecessary damage to the plant.
Propagation: Propagation is typically done by stem cuttings. Cut just below a node, allow the cutting to dry out for a few hours, then place it in water or a light mix until roots form.
Pests and Diseases: Keep an eye out for common houseplant pests such as spider mites, aphids, and mealybugs. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the plant isn't left in standing water.
Remember, each plant is unique, and care should be adjusted based on your specific home environment and the plant's individual needs. Regular observation will help you spot any issues early and maintain a healthy plant.
