Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Megan’ is a striking and uncommon cultivar of the snake plant family, prized for its bold variegation and tall, architectural foliage. Like other Sansevieria trifasciata cultivars, it originates from tropical Africa, where these hardy succulents thrive in dry, rocky environments.
The leaves of ‘Megan’ are upright, sword-shaped, and leathery, typically reaching 60–90 cm indoors. They are decorated with dark green horizontal banding and accented with broad golden-yellow margins that give the plant a vibrant, glowing appearance. Compared to other variegated forms like ‘Laurentii’, ‘Megan’ is known for its thicker yellow borders and strong vertical presence, making it both ornamental and commanding.
With its upright habit and resilience, this cultivar is perfect as a statement floor plant or for modern interiors where structure and colour contrast are valued.
Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates medium and low-light conditions, making it one of the most versatile houseplants. Strong light enhances its bold yellow margins, while too little light may dull the variegation.
Extremely drought tolerant. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. In summer, watering every 2–3 weeks is sufficient; in winter, monthly or less. Overwatering is the primary risk.
Temperature: Prefers 18–28°C. Protect from prolonged exposure below 10°C.
Humidity: Naturally adapted to dry air; no additional humidity is required.
Use a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent compost. Choose a heavy pot to support its tall, upright leaves. Repot every 2–3 years in spring to refresh soil and accommodate clumping growth.
Apply a diluted cactus or succulent fertiliser once a month during spring and summer. No feeding is required in autumn and winter.
Remove old, damaged, or yellowing leaves at the base. Clean leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to showcase their glossy, patterned appearance.
A slow to moderate grower, typically reaching 60–90 cm tall indoors. Over time, it produces offsets (pups) from underground rhizomes, forming dense clumps. Mature plants may occasionally bloom, producing fragrant spikes of white-green flowers.
Yellow/mushy leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Wrinkled leaves: Underwatering – revive with a thorough soak.
Pests: Rare, but may attract mealybugs or spider mites.
Snake plants are renowned for their hardiness and architectural beauty. The ‘Megan’ cultivar is particularly valued for its strong yellow variegation and upright stature. Like all Sansevierias, it also has air-purifying properties, filtering toxins from the air and releasing oxygen even at night.
